XIRI SDS-DRY DESULFURZATION
TECHNOLOGY INTRODUCTION
Dry gas desulfurization, also know as dry flue gas desulfurization, refers to the use of powdery granular absorbent, adsorbent or catalyst to remove sulfide gas in the flue gas.
Dry desulfurization is to use the reducibility and flammability of SO2, USE solid oxidant or adsorbent to desulfurate or directly make it burn. Dry desulfurization is a method to generate Na2SO4 by a reaction of NaHCO3 and SO2, which is called dry desulfurization.

XIRI SDS-DRY DESULFURZATION
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The flue gas (230℃) taken from the flue enters the SDS desulfurization and dust removal system. The flue gas first enters the SDS reactor, and then the ultra-fine sodium bicarbonate powder is injected into the SDS reactor. Under the action of high-temperature flue gas, the ultra-fine sodium bicarbonate powder decomposes the highly active sodium carbonate and carbon dioxide. The highly active Na2CO3 fully contacts with SO2 and other acidic media in the flue gas to produce a chemical reaction and absorbed and purified.
Main reactions
2NaHCO3(S) = Na2CO3(S) + H2O(g) + CO2(g) (1)
2SO2(g) + 2NaCO3(s) + O2 = 2Na2SO4(s) +2CO2(g) (2)
Side effects :
SO3(g) + Na2CO3(s) = Na2SO4(s) +CO2(g) (3)
2HCL(g) + Na2CO3(s) = 2NaCL(s) + CO2(g) (4)
SO2 + Ca(OH)2 = CaSO3 + H2O (5)
